Real estate in Uzbekistan means buying and renting apartments in Tashkent's new developments, secondary housing, houses and commercial spaces through agencies and private realtors. The sums are large and the market is varied, so the reputation of the agent and developer is critical — it is easy to hit hidden document problems here.

When choosing an agency or development, look at honesty about the property's legal status, realistic completion dates for new builds, commission transparency and whether the apartment matches the ad. For rentals, whether there is deceit over the deposit and terms matters.
